Micro-Pak Mold Screening Test Kit

Fast, Reliable, Accurate Mold Testing 

The Micro-Pak Mold Screening Test Program enables customers to test for mold contamination on raw materials, finished goods or various surfaces in a simple, fast and cost effective manner. Samples are taken by the user and sent to Micro-Pak Technical Offices for analysis. Micro-Pak will then issue a report identifying any mold found, the estimated mold level and a suggested action plan. 

One Mold Screening Test Kit includes one tape lift slide that customers can use to test any material they suspect may be moldy. The test kit also includes full examination and reporting by Micro-Pak Technicians. The customer is responsible for shipping the tape lift slides to their local Micro-Pak office. Reports will be returned to the customer within two business days of receipt.

Micro-Pak’s Tape Lift Test provides a standardized surface sampling method to easily and quickly test for the presence of all types of mold as well as the relative degree of mold contamination*. Mixed specimens collected from Tape Lift Slides are examined under biological microscopes by Micro-Pak’s specialist microbiologists and the identification of molds is based on the indicative mold elements (spores, hyphae, conidial heads, and sporangia) under the specifically viewed area. Micro-Pak additionally uses proprietary software to calculate the degree of contamination together with a suggested action plan. *Results refer to the tested sample areas only and are therefore not an indication of the presence or absence of mold from any other item.
